Introduction
Peking Union Medical College Hospital is a modern, comprehensive Class A tertiary hospital integrating medical services, education, and research. It is designated by the National Health Commission as the National Guidance Center for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Complex and Severe Diseases. It was among the first hospitals in China to provide high-level healthcare services for senior officials and medical care for foreign guests. It is also a national demonstration base for higher medical education and standardized residency training, as well as a national core base for clinical medical research and technological innovation. The hospital enjoys a prestigious reputation both at home and abroad for its comprehensive range of disciplines, robust technical expertise, prominent specialized departments, and powerful multidisciplinary integrated advantages. It has ranked first in the "China Hospital Rankings" published by the Hospital Management Institute of Fudan University for ten consecutive years.
